Lumen Learning’s Waymaker courseware provides personalized study plans for students as they work through enriched OER materials. The platform gathers data that enables supportive interactions between faculty and students. This session will explore how Waymaker supports multiple evidence-based teaching practices across the disciplines, regardless of instructional modality.

Dr. Katie Lynch

Chair – Sam Draper Honors Program | Rockland Community College

Dr. Katie Lynch is an Associate Professor of English at Rockland Community College (SUNY) where she also serves as the chair of the nationally recognized Sam Draper Honors Program. She received her B.A. in English and History from Dartmouth College and her Ph.D. in Literary Studies (with an emphasis on medieval English literature) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Lynch was awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2020. Since 2017, she has been active in the Open Educational Resources (OERs) movement and has presented at several OER-related conferences across SUNY and beyond.
