With the continued growth in postsecondary distance education, quality assurance in such programs is necessary as they impact an increasingly significant proportion of students. Given the numerous advancements in technology, learning sciences, competency-based programs, and distance learning pedagogy, the 21st Century Distance Education Guidelines were developed to ensure satisfactory levels of quality in distance education.

In this session, join the Director of Instructional Design from Delaware Technical Community College as they share how they have navigated the 21st Century Guidelines and they built their innovative program to align with them and ensure the best outcomes for their students.
