Reanimating Continuous Improvement for the New Normal

Session Overview

This video was part of the July 2021 REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit

Since 2017, our University of Mississippi Department of Writing and Rhetoric team, collaborating with Lumen Learning, has implemented a continuous improvement program for the OER, modular, adaptive courseware developed for our first-year writing classes. The pandemic paused our continuous improvement initiative, providing an opportunity to assess and revitalize our efforts. This presentation describes our pre-pandemic continuous improvement workflow, considers challenges faced during the pandemic, and summarizes plans for reinvigorating the program in the new normal.
