Although educators, students, and parents have grappled with the sudden need for the proper technology and technological savvy to conduct remote learning, one concern many may have neglected to consider is how to set up a home workspace that mitigates ergonomic challenges. In my session, I will share my personal ergonomic challenges with teaching from home and what I did to correct them.

Kiel Ellis is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Delgado Community College. She teaches developmental and transfer-credit math courses, as well as business courses. Kiel holds a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Information Systems. She is experienced in teaching in-person, fully online, and virtual courses.
