Nathalie M. Vega-Rhodes

Mathematics Professor, Lone Star College – Kingwood

Nathalie Vega-Rhodes’ career has encompassed several student-focused positions. Early roles in tutoring and supplemental instruction leadership shaped her teaching, leading to a sharp focus on developing students’ academic mindset in her courses (developmental mathematics to calculus). She holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Houston and a M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Houston—Clear Lake. She regularly assists faculty with online pedagogical implementation strategies and has led a team in designing and implementing algebraic corequisite courses.
