Lessons from COVID: The Benefit of Preparation and The Need for Agility

Session Overview

This video was part of the July 2021 REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit

This presentation will discuss lessons learned from COVID-19 and draws parallels with a time between WWI and WWII when the US faced a great deal of uncertainty.  In both cases we will show the benefit of preparation and agility during changing times. From working with online-course designers to translating active learning tools to the digital platform, substantial engagement and student achievement are possible to the same degree as they can be in face-to-face courses.
