Essie has taught for 32 years of mentoring and encouraging students to visualize success to reach their academic and personal goals. For the past 13 years, she has developed a strong track record of teaching first-year students Education 1300 and Integrated Reading and Writing at Blinn College in Bryan, Texas. Essie developed the first online EDUC 1300 Learning Frameworks course at Blinn College. Ms. Childers is a dynamic, engaging speaker and has presented at numerous conferences across the United States such as The REMOTE Summit, TCCTA, NOSS, On Course, Cengage, NISOD, CRLA, CASP, Texas Guarantee Student Success Symposium, Women’s Empowerment Conference, and AAAE. Essie is the Founding Director of Virtual Success Coaching.
Essie is a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler, Abilene Christian University, and Walden University recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Adult Learning.
