Brandon Karcher

Manager, Instructional Technology, Bucknell University
 
Brandon is the Manager of Instructional Technology at Bucknell University where he explores, pilots, evaluates, and (sometimes) breaks emerging technologies. He’s been teaching, presenting, and running educational workshops for the past 10 years. His professional experience in supporting teaching and learning ranges from large public R1 institutions to small private liberal arts universities . Brandon’s a proud Woo, an even prouder Dad, and loves the Oxford comma.
 

Doug Wilson

Instructional Designer, Dallas College Eastfield Campus
 
Dr. Doug Wilson is an instructional designer and adjunct assistant professor. His primary areas of responsibility include online course design and faculty development. Dr. Wilson joined the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Dallas College’s Eastfield Campus in 2020. His professional experience includes working as an instructional designer in the Center for Teaching Excellence at Southern Methodist University and teaching instructional design online in the Department of Higher Education and Learning Technologies at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Previously, Dr. Wilson served as full-time faculty at Richland College in Developmental Writing and Journalism; his peer-reviewed research is published in academic journals, and he has presented at local, national, and international conferences. Dr. Wilson holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York.
