Collaboration tools to engage HyFlex learners: Walking the line with FERPA and Innovation

Session Overview

This video was part of the June 2022 REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit

The tools we use in the classroom are mired by ethical practice and policy. Has campus IT approved this tool? Does it fall under acceptable use guidelines? Is it web-based or do I need to install something? How are my students’ data being used? This session will explore tools and approaches used in a HyFlex course at the University of Idaho to contextualize the conversation about cultivating and engaging a multimodal learning community.
