In this session, we will review one community college’s decision to create new pathways to student success. Through transforming course models and course materials, WCTC has increased access and equity to education allowing all students the opportunity to reduce their time to completion and degree/credential obtainment.

Brad Piazza
Vice President-Learning | Waukesha County Technical College
Brad has dedicated 22 years of his professional career to helping students reach their academic and career goals through higher education. He serves as the Vice President of Learning for Waukesha County Technical College. Prior to this position, he served nine years as dean of the School of Business at WCTC. In his current role, Brad serves as the chief academic officer and as the co-lead for the implementation of Guided Pathways and an 8-week, year-round academic calendar. Before joining WCTC, he served for 11 years as assistant dean of the School of Business at UW-Parkside.
Michael Moore
Research Scientist
| University of New Hampshire
Mike Moore is a Research Scientist at the University of New Hampshire. Mike has completed two quantitative studies analyzing the impact of inclusive access course materials models on student outcomes. Before moving into academia, Mike worked in the bookstore industry, which provides him a unique perspective in his research. Mike has an ongoing research agenda to further investigate the efficacy of inclusive and equitable access course materials models across the country.
