Much the same as with campus-immersion or face-to-face courses, promoting a culture of integrity online is of upmost importance. Concerns of students cheating or violating academic integrity exist regardless of the mode of teaching, but there are a variety of strategies that can be implemented to minimize these violations.
 

In this video (8:38) we’ll explore some strategies to address academic integrity in online courses.

  • Review your assessment strategy to identify places where students might feel tempted to violate academic integrity and look to apply a pedagogical, technological and/or community-building strategy to reduce this likelihood.
