Scaling Adaptive Learning for College Placement and Success

Session Overview

This video was part of the June 2022 REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit

Texas College Bridge is a personalized, self-paced college math and English readiness program powered by EdReady. Students who successfully complete the Texas College Bridge program earn a TSIA (Texas Success Initiative Assessment) exemption accepted at most of the colleges and universities across the state, and the list keeps growing. The exemption allows students to immediately enroll in credit-bearing courses without having to take a high-stakes placement test. On this session, we will review how we were able to take this adaptive-learning model to scale across the state of Texas and lessons learned for how similar models might scale in other systems and states.
