Kristy Roschke
President’s Award-winning faculty for Study Hall in 2021, Kristy Roschke is the managing director of the Cronkite School’s News Co/Lab, an initiative that aims to advance media literacy through research and partnerships with stakeholders like journalists, educators, and community activists. Roschke has taught journalism and media literacy for nearly 20 years. She earned her PhD from the Cronkite School in 2018.

DeAnna Soth
DeAnna is the Associate Director of Instructional Design and New Media at EdPlus at ASU. She has worked in higher education curriculum and instructional design for over a decade. She has an educational background in liberal studies and education.
DeAnna has taught and co-designed ASU 101, a one-credit class about student success. She has additional teaching experience in corporate training at Wells Fargo and also teaches face-to-face basic makeup classes for women undergoing cancer treatment for Look Good Feel Better.

Regina Revazova
Founder and Executive Producer of Open Conversation – an award-winning podcast production company specializing in original content in partnership with private enterprises, public radio stations, foundations and other entities. In addition to creating editorial and branded podcasts, she teaches audio storytelling and podcasting at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. A former producer at NPR’s KJZZ in Phoenix, KNPR in Las Vegas, and at HQ in Washington D.C. producing Tell Me More and Weekend Edition. She has been a journalist at BBC’s Caucasus Unit in North Ossetia, Russia, and a correspondent at Kavkazskiy Uzel which is directly affiliated with Memorial International, one of the oldest and most respected human rights organizations in Russia.

Ricardo Leon
Ricardo Leon is a Media Developer for EdPlus and is a co-creator and co-host of Course Stories. He has developed a number of other podcasts and various other forms of instructional media. In 2021, Ricardo was on a team that received The President’s Award, which formally recognizes successful solutions in innovation, for his work on the Study Hall project with Crash Course.

Mary Loder
