Instruction by Design Podcast

In this episode, the instructional designers from Arizona State University’s Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation (Jinnette Senecal, Celia Coochwytewa, and Aaron Kraft) recall times during their careers as educators when they were able to successfully solve real life learning problems using theories, models, and principles that we often read about in textbooks. They describe in detail how adult learning principles, the process of backwards design, and Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction can be utilized for building effective learning interventions. Lastly, they reflect on the effectiveness of these various solutions.
